i'm sensing that this new year will bear some fortune .... that is, not specifically referring to materialistic nor physical means, although it does involve it .... somehow i feel that a positive spiritual grounding is being consciousy cultivated individually and collectively .....

i have some new works to be updated into this ....plus a bunch of new drawings .... my technique has evolved quite significantly since my last post here

....its satisfying to be able to transmit your inner brainvisions through inanimate objects into an image which contains emotions and feelings ... makes it seem more alive and real ... looks into your soul ..

Brian Froud has been greatly inspiring me with his faery visions and philosophy .... it's like opening little portals inside your brain that is hidden in the deepest nooks and crannies, the last places you'd ever look into; to find that it contains live things that communicates with you on a different vibration ... this is the best way i could explain my latest drawings and paintings - which is really based on fragments of subconscious thoughts and emotions; rather than conceptually planning out what a drawing or a painting might consist of ...

....kinda like sticking your hand into the clouds, blindfolded and grappling around for something to pull out ..

... then falling hopelessly in love with it.
